Beautiful retreat among a grand lot of redwood trees. This 3.4 acre lot has been in the same family since 1969. In 1972 they designed a house but circumstances meant it was never built. In 1969 there was an ocean view from this knoll high above The Sea Ranch. Today you find mostly a grand vacant lot with majestic redwoods. The setting high above the Pacific ocean, Black Point beach and meadows west of Highway 1, leads straight down the hill on Moonraker Road to the iconic Moonraker recreation center, part of the early Sea Ranch architectural venacular designed by MLTW who also designed the iconic Condo 1 complex. Moonraker Rec has a heated pool in a wind protected setting behind earth berms. Another pod holds a tennis court. The locker rooms are decorated with super graphics by Barbara Stauffacher-Solomon. The original designs were updated and re-painted by Barbara in 2015. From Moonraker rec a hedgerow leads to the bluff in unit 1 with the Esheric Hedgerow Demonstration homes.
