I believe that each of our lives tells a story — our story — and includes chapters that reflect different parts of ourselves — a manifestation of dreams. As a young child, my dream was to become a Clinical Psychologist, to understand and facilitate the path, both current and past, of those who graciously invited me to join them as an intimate witness in their life journey. For 27 years, I resided in the San Francisco Bay Area and lived that dream. When my daughter left home for college in 2007, I was excited to begin yet another chapter — one that would expand my role as an intimate witness in people’s lives to include “The Home as a Metaphor for the Self.” I left the Bay Area to head north where I had purchased 20 acres in 2002 - to build upon and embrace new dreams— to begin a new life on the extraordinary North Coast and simultaneously become a Realtor, a Professional Facilitator for those seeking their dream home on the North Coast of California. Having always loved the world of Design and Architecture and dabbled as a visual artist in the medium of photography, I was thrilled to spend hours photographing and sharing special Sea Ranch/Gualala homes with those seeking the same. As a Realtor, it became immediately obvious to me that my role was not only to matchmake buyers and sellers, homes and aesthetic but to serve as an intermediary, a visionary of sorts where the medium of photography could bring a space to life and thus another dream was born: to capture, communicate and preserve the emotions and aesthetic of space through the art of photography.
